Other Work
Beyond Studio
Photography, fabrication, material experimentation,
building technology, furniture, and physical models.
01 / Design Tech 4197
Additive Manufacturing
This project explores how GIS data can be transformed
into tactile, flexible, and information-rich physical
maps using direct inkjet-based 3D printing onto fabric.
I also wanted to explore how visually impaired individuals
can use these maps and halftones to experience the city
in a unique way.
02 / Rome Study Abroad
Photography
During my semester in Rome, I took a photography course
that looked at photography as a means to visual
interpretation and authorship. I investigated diverse
approaches to image making with the camera and developed
a body of work referencing my Rome experience, including
a zine for the course.

03 / Raku
Pottery
I explored a low-firing process called Raku, where
pottery is removed from the kiln while red hot and then
cooled rapidly, often in combustible material like
sawdust or paper. Through this process, I examined the
unexpected outcomes that can occur when tweaking material
and firing conditions.
04 / Course Investigations
Building Technology & Analysis
These are investigations from my Building Technology
courses, showing building analysis, technical studies,
diagrams, and explorations of environmental and
construction systems.
05 / Furniture + Making
TwistChair
Inspired by the curves of my signature, I explored
twisting and bending as expressions of movement,
continuity, and connection. This concept shaped the
chair's form, creating fluid transitions between surfaces
while enhancing comfort and reinforcing the relationship
between structure, function, and the human body.
06 / Physical + Fabricated
Models
A series of working and conceptual models created over
the course of my education, including paper, wood, metal,
and 3D-fabricated models.
